This Saturday and Sunday, as part of President’s Day weekend, fishing is free in Oregon.
A release from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife said everyone can fish, clam and crab without cost on both days. No fishing/shellfish licenses or tags are required. Both Oregon residents and nonresidents can fish for free.
An ODFW release said all other fishing regulations apply including closures, bag limits and size restrictions.
